so its the end of the term and exams are coming up, and for my one class i wanted to get the power point notes to study off of. the prof only posts note outlines on her website, but i wanted the ppt’s. so at the end of class i go up and ask her if i could bring a memory stick in and get them. her answer was “no” she says she can’t because some of the pictures are copyrighted and she can’t distribute them. well she’s not profiting so whats the problem? and also i have had tones of professors and any of them that have ppt slides have always allowed the students to have copies in some form. unless their reason was i want you to attend the classes but then you would give them at the end of the course. but the real kicker is the girl in front of me in class has the ppt notes all printed out, all of them for every single class. so why do you give me the Bullshit answer when you give them out, maybe its only to you favorites which is lame, or maybe she has permission (don’t think so). but fuck that just pisses me off, its not like she got the notes from someone who did this course last year because this is the first year that the course has been offered.
