dont remember how i happened across it but gogoyoko.com is my new favourite music site. it’s like a icelandic emusic. i am discovering such great music every day like Low Roar and Luna. thats not to say it’s just icelandic music they have a good selection of indie music including radiohead. but Iceland what is in your water?!?! you have amazing music both in english and in icelandic, like this shit should be on the radio and plastered over peoples facebook profiles not foster and the people for the billionth time. that not to say i don’t like foster and the people but seriously people need to switch it up a but now and then. iceland is just this amazing country full of great music, beautiful people, and the most amazing landscapes i have ever seen.

Dear Much Music Retro,
can you please explain to me what in your opinion constitutes retro music? your channel seems to me to have some rather loose interpretation of the retro classification. for example is 1990’s backstreet boys really retro? or Flaming Lips from 2002? this to me is a very loose interpretation of “Retro”. from this anything that is not presently new is then in effect old and therefore retro. so will i expect all music to be on this channel because in a sense everything made no longer is present and automatically becomes old.
